§ 50-64. Removal required.

The owner and occupant of any commercial property shall remove all snow and ice from sidewalks abutting their property within 24 hours after said snow or ice has fallen or accumulated; the owner and occupant of any residential property shall remove all snow and ice from sidewalks abutting their property within 48 hours of falling or accumulation. This time period shall be extended, if the snow falls or ice accumulates upon said sidewalks in the nighttime or on a weekend or holiday, removal of same must be made within 24 hours of the following business day.
