§ 6-107. License required; sale in manner other than provided for in license prohibited.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to sell any cereal malt beverage at retail within the corporate limits of the city without first having obtained a license from the city clerk as provided in this article. A separate license is required for each place of business or temporary location.

    (1)

    An annual license is valid until December 31 of the year in which it is issued, and then must be renewed with the city clerk as provided herein.

    (2)

    A temporary license is only valid for dates contained within the temporary license.

    (b)

    No person holding a license to sell cereal malt beverages at retail in original and unopened containers not for consumption upon the premises shall sell such beverages in any other manner than as provided for in such license.

    (c)

    No person holding a license to sell cereal malt beverages for consumption on the premises shall sell cereal malt beverages for consumption off the premises.
