§ 54-68. Authority to invest.

  • Public moneys or funds which are not immediately required for the purposes for which the moneys were collected or received and the investment of which is not subject to or regulated by any statute other than K.S.A. 12-1675 may, in accordance with the procedure hereinafter prescribed, be invested by the city treasurer in:

    (1)

    Investments as authorized by K.S.A. 12-1675, and all acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto;

    (2)

    Temporary notes of the city issued pursuant to K.S.A. 10-123 and all acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto; and/or

    (3)

    No fund warrants issued by the city in accordance with state law.
