§ 50-234. Removal of encroachment.

Whenever any sign or other encroachment exists in violation of the provisions of this article the code enforcement officer shall issue notice requiring the removal of such encroachment within a time specified in such notice. Such notice shall be a written notice served in person or by mail upon the owner or agent at his last known address. If the owner or his agent shall fail or refuse to remove the encroachment within the time fixed in the notice, the city may cause the encroachment to be removed.
