§ 50-351. Regulations applicable to ponds; hours.

  • (a)

    The following regulations shall apply to all ponds or other bodies of water which harbor live fish and/or support watercraft located on property owned by the city:

    (1)

    All persons must comply with all posted rules and regulations of the city.

    (2)

    All persons must have a valid fishing license to fish, if the state so requires of that individual.

    (3)

    No gas-powered craft is allowed upon the water.

    (4)

    All persons fishing from a boat or floater must wear an approved personal flotation device at all times.

    (5)

    No alcoholic beverages or cereal malt beverages shall be brought onto the premises or consumed thereon.

    (b)

    No person shall be on a city pond, or the area owned by the city surrounding any pond, at times other than those posted as open to the public.
