§ 2-277. City clerk.

  • (a)

    In addition to statutory and other duties required by the city manager, the city clerk shall be the official custodian of all city records, except as otherwise required by law. The city clerk shall ensure the city maintains a proper record of all official acts, agreements, legislation, and complies with records maintenance schedules adopted by the city.

    (b)

    The city clerk shall administer oaths for all purposes pertaining to the business and affairs of the city.
