§ 22-27. Veterans' plots.

(a)

Any person eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans or World War I organization is eligible for burial in the veteran's section of the cemetery. A signed statement of eligibility from the state veteran's commission will be accepted as proof of eligibility.

(b)

A free burial space will be provided to a veteran, and his spouse if a reservation is made at the time of the first burial. If any reserved space is not used within 60 years, the space will revert to ownership of the city for burial of veterans.
