§ 18-393. Violations, penalties and other relief.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for a provider to transport, distribute, or sell natural gas or other energy to a consumer in violation of this division.

    (b)

    Any person who violates any of the provisions of this division shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $2,500.00. Each and every day of operation in violation of this division shall constitute a separate offense.

    (c)

    The city may seek such other relief as may be available at law or in equity, including but not limited to an injunction to halt any violation of this division or of any permit or other authorization granted hereunder, and shall have such other remedies as are or may in the future be provided by any law, ordinance or regulation.
