§ 18-137. License required.

  • (a)

    No person shall engage or continue in business as a junk dealer within the city without first obtaining a license therefor. The license shall be obtained from the city clerk. The license application shall be in writing and shall state the following information:

    (1)

    Full name and place of residence of the applicant, or if the applicant is a partnership, the full name and place of residence of each member thereof, or if a corporation or association, of each officer, shareholder or member thereof.

    (2)

    The location where the business is to be conducted.

    (b)

    A license fee as set by the board of city commissioners shall accompany each application and shall be paid annually upon renewal of the license.
